Native Home:  The RED BLOOD PYTHON is endemic to the Malay Peninsula, which comprises the far southeastern portion of Burma, the southwestern section of Thailand, West Malaysia, and Singapore.

Size: Most RED BLOOD PYTHON adult females measure 50"-66" in total length, most adult males measure 40"-56" in total length  and can weigh 25 to 40 pounds.

Diet: RED BLOOD PYTHONS will feed on appropriately sized rodents for their entire life.

Reproduction: RED BLOOD PYTHONS will lay eggs 60 to 70 days after mating, the female lays 12-30 eggs. The eggs hatch after about 75 days.

Lifespan: The RED BLOOD PYTHON can live up to 20 years in captivity.
