Native Home: New Caledonia Giant Geckos are found in all of the southern and eastern portions of the main island of New Caledonia, as well as on several of the smaller islands in the group.
Size: The New Caledonia Giant Gecko can reach 14 inches total length- including tail. it is the largest exant gecko in the world.
Diet: New Caledonia Giant Geckos eat a diet of insects, spiders, small vertebrates, fruit, nectar, and sap. They feed on a pre-made gecko diet in captivity.
Reproduction: New Caledonia Giant Geckos lay two eggs at a time, having up to 10 clutches per year. it takes between 45 to 150 days depending on incubation temperatures
Lifespan: New Caledonia Giant Geckos can live up to 20 years in captivity.
